The Panther Lake Trail is a beautiful, scenic trail located in Federal Way, WA. The trail is approximately 3 miles long and is perfect for a leisurely stroll or a vigorous hike. The Panther Lake Trail winds its way through a mixed forest of Douglas fir, western hemlock, and western red cedar. The forest floor is blanketed with a variety of mosses, ferns, and wildflowers. Several streams and small waterfalls can be seen along the trail. The forest provides ample shade and filters out much of the noise from the surrounding city, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The trail provides stunning views of Panther Lake, as well as views of Mt. Rainier on a clear day.
